Fanny Chellé is a French clarinetist who has been playing classical music, contemporary music and free improvisation. After her debut at the Conservatoire de Clermont-Ferrand in the class of Béatrice Berne, she continued her musical journey in Rennes where she studied at the Pont Supérieur d'Enseignement artistique with Etienne Lamaison. Having obtained a DNSPM and a DE as a clarinet teacher in Brittany, Fanny decided to continue her studies abroad and joined the Haute École des arts de Zürich where she obtained a Master Performance in 2020. Fanny Chellé is a teacher, passionate about orchestra and chamber music, and is a member of several ensembles (Trio Boreas, QuatuornAnemoi). Classically trained, she likes to experiment with other aesthetics and is always looking for new experiences. In 2022 she created her solo project Systéme D, for amplified clarinet and effects pedals, mixing improvisation and traditional music.
