I went to White Bear in Flushing for the first time. I'm sure for many of you, you have seen White Bear in countless Youtube videos and other social media, which is why I went. I finally had a chance to try an item with perhaps unrealistic high expectations. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and luckily there wasn't a line. I didn't expect that there wouldn't be any seating. In fact, the store is just a window in front of the entrance. You couldn't even go inside. After I paid a pricy $10, I got my plate of spicy wonton. I immediately ate one and the one I ate had very little of the sauce on it. The skin texture was disappointly pasty and the meat was a bit bland. However, later in the day, I mixed the sauce with the wonton, and that improved the situation immensely. The sauce is not just chili sauce, but had chunks of pickled radish, and other bits that elevated the weak wontons. I would say that the sauce totally rescued that dish.

Have you guy tried this place? It's be lauded as the "best" for so long, so I'm wondering what you think.
