Hi my name is Adele Langlands and I set up this channel to help my community ukulele groups so they can practice at home some of the songs we learn at the weekly lessons. The quality isn’t great, usually videoed from my iPad propped up on a chair in front. My versions of the songs can vary from the original and will often be in a different key so it is easier to play and sing (for my voice). I simplify when I can using the easiest chord and Strum patterns. I try to play slower than the original but you can always go .75 playback speed on YouTube. I have been lucky enough to be a music teacher for over 25 years and my aim is to inspire and encourage others to play an instrument. . Ukulele is a fabulous instrument as it one of the easiest instruments to learn and you can sing along also. I hope you enjoy my channel and find it useful.. My voice is definitely not perfect but I think it’s important to show people you don’t have to sing perfectly!
