Welcome to my channel, Cloudy Nook Stitches ( formerly known as Cloudy Nook Crochet). My name is Laurie and my plan for my channel is to share stitch related crafts I enjoy to do, which are, cross stitch, crochet, knit, embroidery, quilt and sew. Now, let me explain the reason behind my channel name…I love looking up at the sky with the contrast of white puffy clouds against the bright blue skies after a storm. A few years ago, my mom told me to “Go sew up a storm.” She said this to me, while I was caring for her, before she passed away. I’m dedicating this channel to my mom and grandmother, Nanny, who were my crochet/knit teachers when I was 9 years old. My channel saying is... GO STITCH UP A STORM!!!
