Laurent works as Principal Cloud Advocate for Microsoft Azure after almost 10 years spent working for IdentityMine and Valorem, two leading firms in Microsoft technologies. He codes in Azure, .NET, Blazor, Windows, WPF, JavaScript. At Microsoft, Laurent works on organizing and creating content for first party events such as Microsoft Build, Microsoft Ignite and the Microsoft AI Tour. He also collaborates with the Visual Studio team, the .NET team and all the Azure teams to create content, demos, presentations etc. On his free time, he writes for technical publications, publishes technical videos on YouTube, and his blog is on galasoft.ch/posts. He is a frequent speaker at conferences such as Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft Build, VS Live, Experts Live, .NET Day, Global Azure Bootcamp, Techorama, DevSum and many other international events. Prior to joining Microsoft, Laurent was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional from 2007 to 2017, and a Microsoft Regional Director from 2013.
