Join me on a journey through shoe design, where I explore three unique looks and share how they feel on foot. I’m Nes, a Vietnamese immigrant now based in New York City, working as a footwear and accessories designer and stylist. My approach to design is rooted in rebellion and joy, two things I try to infuse into everything I create.

My love for design started early. At just eight years old, I was handpicking fabrics to put together my own clothes, not realizing it was the start of a lifelong path. When my family moved from Vietnam to NYC in 2005, I dove deeper into my craft, later studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Pensole Footwear Design Academy.

New York itself is my biggest inspiration. The city’s culture, music, fashion, and energy push me to keep creating and collaborating. For me, design is more than style and it’s about building connections and telling stories through every piece.
